Our cowskins are hand-picked, first-class quality skins. This means there are no holes and dirty spots in the leather. The Southern American Cowskins come from open land cows and always features a brand, which underlines the uniqueness of each skin. A first-class cowskin can be recognized by the glossiness in the fur. This glossiness does also reflect the good animal husbandry. You purchase the skin that is shown in the photo.


You can vaccum or beat the dust and dirt out of the cowskin rug without problems. Stains can be removed easily with a cloth and a little water. In case of persistent soiling, we recommend chemical cleaning by an expert. Care instructions for our cowskin rugs are included in the delivery.
